Frequently asked questions
What is the "two-factors" identification
You have to enter your username and password when connecting to the e-banking. You will be requested to enter a second security factor, a six digits code generated by your "Digipass." This access code is generated by a physical "token" or via an app on your smartphone. This code is unique and lasts 30 seconds.
Does CIM Bank provide a mobile app?
Our e-banking is "responsive" and works the same way on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. To easily connect via your smartphone, CIM Bank offers a mobile app to let you identify with your fingerprint (Touch ID) or face recognition (Face ID). You can also scan QR-Bills from this app (available only in EUR/CHF).
What is an "express transfer"?
Transfers are usually executed two days from their creation. If needed, you can make an express transfer sent on the same day if created in a limited timeframe or on the next working day. Click here to see express transfers conditions.
Are bank statements available online?
Yes! All the bank's communication is sent through the secure messaging system of the e-banking. You will receive your bank statements as PDF files. You can also export specific transactions by selecting date ranges or entering search criteria.
What kind of transfers can I send?
Our e-banking let you make any transfer: - Account to account transfers: between two of your accounts or to another client of the bank - International transfers in more than 100 currencies - Domestic transfers in Switzerland - Orange/Red in-payment slips and QR-Bills (available only in EUR/CHF)
Can I send multiple payments at once?
Yes, the mass import feature will let you create multiple transfers at once by using the CSV model available in your e-banking. This feature is available on request only; please get in touch with your Relationship Manager to learn more.
I lost my credit card; can I block it via e-banking?
If you own a Union Pay credit card, you can block it directly through your e-banking. If you find it back, you can unlock it the same way and use it as before. For other cards types, please contact your Relationship Manager to block it and receive a new card.
