Beware of Phishing Scams

Protect your information and stay alert against online fraud attempts.

At CIM Bank, the security of your data and assets is our top priority.

We wish to raise your awareness about fraudulent attempts known as phishing, which are increasingly common in the banking industry worldwide.

What is phishing?

Phishing is a form of fraud in which scammers impersonate your bank to obtain your confidential information and misappropriate your funds.

These fraudsters use various channels : phone calls, emails, SMS, or WhatsApp messages ; carefully imitating the bank’s identity (logo, signature, or even fake websites and applications). They often use email addresses or websites that appear legitimate but are not.

For example: contact@cim-bank.com instead of contact@cimbanque.com ; a subtle but dangerous difference. Please remain extremely vigilant.

Their goal: to obtain your passwords, personal information, or to trick you into making fraudulent transactions.

What CIM Bank will never ask you for

  • Your login credentials
  • Your passwords
  • Your card details : whether by phone, email, SMS, or WhatsApp

How to react if in doubt

  • Do not reply to any suspicious message and do not follow any instructions received. Delete it immediately.
  • If you receive a suspicious call, hang up right away and contact your relationship manager or our customer service directly using an official phone number you know.
  • Never act in haste : take the time to reach us through a secure channel.

Pay attention to the domain names used

Fraudsters often use email addresses or websites that closely resemble those of CIM Bank.

Only the following domains are official: @cimbanque.ch, @cimbanque.com, and @cimbanque.fr.

If you receive a message from any other domain (for example @cim-bank.com or any similar variation), do not respond and contact your relationship manager or our customer service immediately for verification.
